<p>Hi I am senior and I got 1900 on the SAT. I think i can do well on the act because I got a 35 on the practice test. However, the next ACT test is December 13 and the scores will most likely come after college deadlines so I would have to state that I took the ACT on my common app and send the scores directly after. Do you guys think that would hurt my admission chances? As in, would an officer think I should really be completely done with my app by the deadline. Should I sign up for the ACT?</p>
<p>I was like you: not so great on the SAT, then hit the ACT out of the park. I would do it. Most schools deadline is for the application, while scores can come a little later.
Ex: U of Notre Dame’s regular decision deadline is January 1st, but they will accept ACT testing up until the 7th of February. This is only one case, but I think most schools are like this</p>
