Hi, its time to register for my AP tests in school (Physics B, Java) and I was looking to possibly take one more test with one month of self study. I looked at the course description for Government, did 10 MC questions and got 8 right. I was also able to do most of the free resposne questions. I took government last term and recieved a 90. Most of the material looks repeated. Should I take the test? Is one month of study enough for a 4? What are some good books ?

I took the test - having never taken a gov class before in my life. I didn't study* for more than a few hours, either, and managed to pull a 5.

That said, I am (somewhat of) a political-afficionado, so that certainly helped me. Keeping up with current events is also helpful, especially for the free-responses.

*I used the Princeton Review book and thought it was excellent. Barrons, by comparison, was FAR too in-depth for a quick overview.
