Can anyone give me advice as to whether I should take the June LSAT if I start studying now... will that be enough time? I was thinking taking it Oct 2012 to have more time to study but I will also be applying to law schools near then and don't know if I'd be abe to retake it. What do you think I should do?

I would prepare over the summer and take it in October. You can always retake in December. Law school apps aren’t hard–I found them easier than college apps.

It depends on your own goals. If you’re testing close to where you want to be, then 2.5 months might be enough time for you. Whether you’re still in school currently and on a quarter v. semester system timing will affect this too.

If you decided to do October, I’d suggest that you have your entire application prepared with the LSAC so you can submit the day of. The rolling admissions bump isn’t nearly as large as some may suggest, but the wait for decisions can make you go crazy as admissions offices go on their December breaks.
