Should I take the SAT 2 Subject tests?

I signed up for Chem and Math 2 for October, and I couldn't decide whether to take the 3rd one as it was recommended on the NU website. It says it would help with lower ACT scores but I got a 34. I do have a pretty low GPA though (4.15ish W). I'm painfully lazy.

How do SAT 2's even factor in with admissions? I'm applying for ED. I shall appreciate all your insights.

I only took Math2 and Physics and I was accepted. Anecdotal evidence

I did a relatively awful job on Math II compared to other students applying to schools of this caliber, so I didn’t send in my Subject test scores, got in regardless. I had a 2210 SAT with a 3.98 UW (4.73 GPA) for my app.

That said, anecdotal evidence also.

I think test scores and GPA are only important to get you into the door for consideration, so don’t worry about it too much and make sure the rest of your app is strong.

I took 3 in a sitting and got 740’s accross the board, I was worried that that wasn’t good enough, but I got in so there you go.

I think if you have a 34, then you should be OK without them. Do you have 5’s in APs?

NUraider: I have mostly 5’s, a couple 4’s. Does NU consider AP scores now too?
