I'm a senior and I've taken it once. I got a 2120, but my friends keep telling me to take it again, just in case I do better. I got a 790 critical reading, 630 math, and 710 writing. My parents tell me that's fine.

Also, I'm going to be applying to liberal arts colleges that have theater programs, so I'm not TOO worried about the math score, which is my weakest area.

Your parents are probably right that your scores are “good enough”, but why not try to do even better? If the schools you are applying to superscore, then you have nothing to lose.

FYI, my son raised his CR from a 730 to an 800, and his math from a 660 to a 700, with ZERO studying, so mere familiarity with the exam should help you. He also raised his ACT from a 31 to a 34, with ZERO studying. Even getting that math score up to a 650 will “look better”.

Your scores seem really good to me but then again this is CC where a 2120 is equivalent to !@#$. (to most elites, i am not one lol)

I think it depends where you want to apply also, but personally, your scores are great and a retake is only good if you are 100% sure you will improve.

once again, nice score, i’d keep it and just focus on ECs and grades, albeit you didnt supply that information lol

Math will prob be easy to improve - your CR score is impressive. I say that you take it again, and concentrate a bit more on math.

Depends on what you think your chances of getting into your liberal college are; if it’s pretty high up there, then maybe taking the SAT again isn’t necessary.

You probably should because of math - even if you’re applying to liberal arts, because 630 is rather low.
