Should I Take the SAT Again?

I took the SAT once, in March, and scored a 2220: 730 CR, 720 M, 770 W. It's pretty clear that I'm better at the SAT than ACT, and my SAT II scores are strong. I also have have a strong GPA, EC's, essays, etc. The most competitive school I am applying to is Wesleyan, which I will apply to ED.

My college counselor recommended that I should study try to raise my score a little from 1450. My problem though... I have really bad anxiety. The time between taking the test and waiting to get the results back is a nightmare. The week before I got my SAT scores back I was getting around ~5 hours of sleep per night and couldn't concentrate in school. I know this might sound silly and dramatic but it's honestly very hard for me (I am on medication for anxiety but it doesn't prevent everything...). With that in mind, is it worth it to bear the stress and raise my score maybe 80 points? Or am I good as is?

Thank you so much for reading this, I truly appreciate it.

a 2200 is great! You don’t need another take.

2200 is an amazing score, I see no need for you to take a retake unless you’re aiming for a perfect score.

I wouldn’t retake it if I were you :)

If you are not consider any schools that are more competitive or getting merit aid, your current score is very good particularly for Wesleyan.
