Should I take the SAT again?

Here's my situation:

I'm a rising Senior applying ED for UPenn's management and technology program. Penn forces me to send in all of my standardized testing, and I'm not proud of my SAT. I have an incredibly busy schedule, so unless I can boost my CR and Writing scores by a significant amount by the Oct. 11th test date, I'm just gonna screw it. Here's how I look on paper:

Grades:
GPA around 3.7 unweighted, 4.1 weighted. I've been in honors math, science, and english classes since 3rd grade. I usually average around 2 B's a semester, almost always in History and English

Standardized Testing:

SAT I 2080 (Math 800, CR 620, W 660, essay 8)
ACT 34 (Math 35, Sci 34, Eng 35, Reading 31, essay 8)
SAT II (Math L2 800, Physics 800)
AP (Eng. Lang 3, Physics B 5, Calc BC and Physics C taking next year)

EC's:

Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout, have held plenty of leadership positions)
Drumline (Captain for my senior season, have been on the line all 4 years)
Jazz (play drums in the top ensemble, 2nd band for soph/jr year)
Percussion ensemble (4 years)
Basketball Pep Band (4 years)
FIRST Robotics: 4 years on FLL with a state championship, 4 years on FRC, Drivetrain team lead jr/sr year, went to championships sophmore year. I also mentor an FLL team who won state rookie of the year in 2014

Other stuff

I work at a place called Engineering for Kids, teaching robotics classes to 8-14 year olds
I umpired for the local little league for 3 seasons
I am a Double legacy at UPenn (Dad Wharton '87, Mom College of Arts/sciences '89)

Again, what I'm looking for are some easy ways to boost my CR and writing scores on the SAT I. I can maybe put in an hour a day TOPS.

Yeah you need to raise your score to around 2200 for Upenn to be safe, even with double legacy. Buy the blue book and take 2 sections a day as practice. They’re questions from the actual SAT so they’re the most accurate by far.

No, you have the 34 ACT, that will be sufficient in terms of standardized testing. The rest of your app will determine your status.

^Even if he raises his score to 2300, UP is far from safe.

You would have to have a terrible essay and letter of recommendation to get rejected ED with a 34 on the ACT and double legacy.

Thanks for all the advice so far, and I agree that it’s really not necessary for me to take it again. That being said, what kind of time commitment would it take me to raise my CR and Writing scores to at least 700 each?

^^Annie’s opinion is inconsistent with a lot I’ve heard about the benefits of being a legacy. My understanding is the benefit is highly dependent on the involvement of the alumni and/or the level and consistency of their donations. I still think its a reach.

Dad’s fairly well involved. He’s actually working with some Wharton professors right now on a research opportunity, as well as getting the University to invest in his startup business.

My bad - didn’t see the ACT score at all and thought you only had the SAT. In that case, just submit the ACT and don’t retake.

I can’t do that. Penn requires that i send all my testing, they’ll see the SAT and the ACT
