I have been planning on taking the SAT for a third time in August. However, I have been doing poorly in my practice in the past few weeks, and am concerned that my score may go down. I’m applying to most of the UC’s and some privates, all of which require me to send all scores. In addition, not having to continue studying for the SAT would allow me to focus more on other parts of my application.
My past scores:
October: 1390 with 19/24 essay
March: 1470 with 17/24 essay
Are my scores good enough for UC’s (UCSD, UCSB, UCLA etc.) Brown, Cornell, or USC? If I was to take it again and did worse than 1470 how would it look to these schools? Is it worth the time and risk to retake?
