I just took the SAT today...and i dont think i did well. Would you guys recommend that i take it again Nov 5 or should i wait until my scores come back and take it december 3? thanks

Are you a junior or a senior?

Unless you have an earlier application deadline, I suggest you take it in December. It would suck if you had registered for the November one then found out you actually did good on this one. Check the application deadlines for the colleges you are applying to, and if you think December scores will get there in time, then wIt until then.

im a jr, but, since i just took a sat class, i dont want to forget stuff, so im debating whether to just take it again while its fresh, or wait, and probably have to study again before the test

It depend on you whether you can do your best on Nov or Dec.

I’d wait until your scores come back.

My last SAT I felt awful about, but it turned out to be my highest score with a 140 point increase.

However, if you’re sure enough that you didn’t do well today that you would register for the November SAT so soon, consider canceling the one you took today. That way your record isn’t hurt by a bad day of testing.

Also, most people’s reactions to today’s exam seem to be negative as well, so make sure to take that into account.
