Should I take the SAT or SATII's again in October?

Hi, I'm a rising senior wondering if I should take the SATI or II again based on my previous scores. As far as I know, the October SAT is the last test date to put in with early decision/early action applications, so I'd like to make the most of my limited choice.

I'm planning on applying to most of the top schools, including a few ivy's here and there but especially Princeton, Duke, WashU, and UChicago, so judge my question based on those metrics.

SAT: 2300 (taken twice, same score)
2320 Superscore

SATII: 710 Chinese (half native speaker, I don't speak it at home but I've been to chinese school)
800 MathII
800 Chem
740 World (it was so hard...)

I've also gotten a 5 in AP world history. If I were to take the SATII, I would take the bio, lit, or physics. I wish i had 3 800s, but what strategically would be the best route?

Thanks for any help.

Don’t waste your time or money retaking anything.
Your scores are already outstanding, focusing on your EC’s and grades (and those, along with the scores you already got) will be enough to get you into most of the schools youre looking at.

I love CC. It’s the only place I can think of where geniuses who can get into all the top schools have to ask other people if they should retake their SATs, because they’re not smart enough to determine it on their own. It’s either that, or they’re stupid enough to think the rest of the CC community won’t realize that they’re hiding their own egotistical attitude behind every post.

Dude, come on. A 2300, two 800s, and a 740. If you have the brain that these numbers show, you can realize on your own that you don’t need to retake them to get into top schools. I hope your ego is satisfied - now go out and be social. There’s a whole world out there that doesn’t revolve around standardized testing.

your fine and your done with act/sat/sat II testing, you should be celebrating!! take all that time to finetune your application, think and write great essays, be more involved in ec’s, and get good grades for mid-year report.

I retook the SAT in October after studying 2 weeks with the blue book. Somehow, my social life remained intact.

I got a 2400.

Thanks for your sound advice, UnsureOnLife.
