Should I take the SAT this Nov or Dec?

Hi everyone. I am a senior class of 2012. I already took the SAT once in June and got a 1880 (CR 530, M 780, W 570). I plan to take the SAT again this Dec, but I don't know if that would be too late? I already registered for the ACT this Oct, and I think I would score a pretty fine score this time (I already took the ACT twice, got a 27, and think that I can get a 29 or so this 3rd time). But I still want one more chance to take the SAT since I believe I can do better than my last time. The problem is, I would not have enough time to prep for the SAT if I take it this Nov. I really really want to take it in Dec, but that means that I cannot submit that score for the ED/EA schools. For those early schools, I can only use my ACT. That is too bad since I honestly think that I can get a 2000 this time.

So in your opinions, when should I take the SAT? Nov or Dec? Please give me advices soon as October 7 is the registration deadline for the Nov test. Thank you in advance.

Someone??? Anyone???

No such thing as not enough time to prepare. You actually mean that you’re unable to make the effort. Well, based on your effort, you’ll get the results. Work hard, take it in Nov and get that score to apply early, or postpone it to Dec and suffer the sacrifice.
