I'm a junior who recently got a 32 on the ACT and I'm happy with that. All of the colleges that I am going to apply to take either the ACT or the SAT. My question is should I bother takng the SAT if my ACT score is okay? Will I be at a disadvantage if I don't?

I would take it only if you know that you will do well (as in 2250+).

If you had a 35-36 ACT I would say no, but you have a chance of doing better than a 32. If you do poorly, there’s no need to send the scores, so provided money and time aren’t factors it can’t hurt to try the SAT and see how you do. On the other hand, maybe you prefer to hold on to your $45.
