I was talking to someone today, and they mentioned that the September ACT is known for being very difficult. I'm already signed up for the September test, but I've been advised to change to the October test for this reason.

Has anybody heard this before? I'm taking the test mainly to increase my reading score. I want to improve it from 25 to 30, so my super score will be a 34 composite. I could also improve my science score from 33, but I'm not as worried about that one as my reading.

I recommend taking both. I am taking the September one, but plan on also taking October’s test too because the more comfortable you get with taking the exam in literal test-taking conditions, the better your score may be. But that is just what I’ve heard. I’d trust in your own readiness for taking the exam.

@PinkCalculator18 I already have taken two tests actually. On the second test, I did better in every subject compared to the first test. So I’m taking it again in hopes that I can get at least a 26 on the reading. I know I can do it, because I have taken some of the Real Book tests on my own and scored in the 30’s in the reading. But I haven’t been able to do it on the actual thing yet.
