I wasn’t saying that was necessarily a negative… just a fact in how AP credits can or cannot be applied. Same situation at the university my older daughter attended and getting college credit is not the reason to take AP classes in high school…although in years past, some schools did allow students to enter as second semester freshman because of AP credits. I personally never understood the overall advantage to doing that other than the cost of attending school over four years is less and that might have been a factor for some deciding whether or not to attend a more expensive school.</p>
