<p>Even though it doesn't fulfill a general education requirement, it still gives you elective units that can be added on to help boost your class standing so you can register earlier. Also, these extra elective units kick in if you've finished your major but haven't reached the 180 units to graduate yet. Although I don't know how possible it is to graduate in 3 years with a chem/bio/psych major. </p>
<p>But take it anyway. 8 units is worth more than some other APs which only give you 4 units... or even individual IB HL's that give 6 units.</p>
<p>oh i mean even for each one of those majors, not many people graduate in 3 years, but i wouldn't know since i'm not a science major. it's generally not considered as one of the "easy" majors.</p>
