Should i take this AP test?

Hi,
i am going to UCLA in College of Letters and Science as probably either a Chem/Psyche/Bio major...

one of the sheets i have from the UC schools's on IB and AP Test Credit says i don't receive any credit for AP Biology.

Biology
Cannot be applied toward general education requirement.

However on the the Website for admitted students it says
<a href="http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Prospect/APCreditLS.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Prospect/APCreditLS.htm</a>
Biology 3-5 Subject LIFE SCI Course: Unassigned Units 8.0

So will it be worthwhile to take this test? Will i get any credits; also i plan to try and graduate in 3 years.....

it only helps u register for classes. u beter fail that test because i want to have more priority than u. =)

Even though it doesn't fulfill a general education requirement, it still gives you elective units that can be added on to help boost your class standing so you can register earlier. Also, these extra elective units kick in if you've finished your major but haven't reached the 180 units to graduate yet. Although I don't know how possible it is to graduate in 3 years with a chem/bio/psych major.

But take it anyway. 8 units is worth more than some other APs which only give you 4 units... or even individual IB HL's that give 6 units.

i am deciding between chem or bio or psyche .. only one, not 3.. sorry for confusion

oh i mean even for each one of those majors, not many people graduate in 3 years, but i wouldn't know since i'm not a science major. it's generally not considered as one of the "easy" majors.
