Hello everyone! Pending financial aid finalization, I am likely leaving my current four-year institution for another university in the fall for a number of reasons (major, fit, location, etc). While I’ve already spoken with my advisor about the basics (ie, how/where to apply, tips for financial aid) I was wondering if I should formally withdraw from my current college before attending the new school. I won’t be able to discuss this with my advisor for a good few weeks, and I wanted to know if anyone else knew what I should do. Thanks in advance!
at most schools they get the idea you’ve left when you stop registering for classes and paying the enrollment fees. Still it is a good idea to check, especially if you are receiving financial aid so there’s no mixup with both offices filing for the money.
