My school offers 10 AP courses. I can only take five, however (It's AP Design, AP Studio Art, AP Microeconomics, AP Computer Sciences, AP French, AP Chem, AP Phys, AP Eng Lit, AP Eng Lang, AP Calculus. I won't take Design, Studio art, Microeconomics, Comp. Sci, or french, leaving me with only the remaining five to take).

My top school is Yale or Johns Hopkins. Will this be enough AP courses if I get all 5's on them? I might take AP bio separately with a tutor or something.

The IB school I want to go to, however, gives me these as options: IB Calc, IB History, IB Phys, IB Bio, IB Chem, IB Japanese, IB English, Orchestra 12. These are all the courses I've wanted to take since I entered high school.

So what's stopping me?

First off, I have leadership positions in my current AP school. I'm Grade 11 Rep, Founder and President of the Orchestra Club, and President of our MUN club. Some people say I don't need leadership positions/extra circulars for Johns Hopkins, but does this apply to Yale as well?

In the IB school, I'll lose all of my leadership positions. But are these three positions even worth staying for? Or should I just throw all of that out, go to the IB school where all of my desired courses are, and start studying again there? Does Yale even care about leadership positions?

I'm so confused. I want to know what is the best for me, since I'm an international student and all of that (Canadian).

Thanks.
