I currently attend Mount St. Marys College (Los Angeles). I am a second year but I am currently spending my 2nd semester as a 2nd year @ NYU but once I return back to Mount St. Mary's College I plan to transfer.

My major is Business w/an emphasis in Marketing and graphic design. MSMC has no reputation w/either business nor GD. My current GPA is a 3.6.

Tution at MSMC is becoming pricy and to my knowledge it is not worth 42K. Should I tranfer and to where would you recommend for a Business and graphic Design major?

I've been looking into Chapman, NYU, and Fortham. ANY OTHER SCHOOLS?
thank you sooo much for your help!

^ How about RIT (the Rochester Institute of Technology)? I know for sure that they have a Graphic Media Marketing major there within their business school. I’m not too sure what the exact transfer rate is, but I reckon it can’t be too difficult to transfer in.

I’ll look into the Rochester Instiute. But, I also want to be academically challenged. Pepperdine caught my eye. But I’m unsure of their transfer rate.

MSMC isn’t completely unknown. I’ve definitely heard of it and I’m not from CA. Though if you’re concerned that other schools won’t recognize it, I would say that a good bet might be other CA schools. It’ll definitely be on their radar. USC or UCLA might be good if you want to stay in LA. They might be a bit of a reach though. Chapman has a decent acceptance rate and a lot of people like the school. If you want to head up north, maybe Santa Clara University? It has a gorgeous campus and a good social atmosphere. I have a few friends there and they love it.

I really don’t think future employers are going to care if you went to MSMC or CSUN. You’re paying for the convenience of a small school…that’s about it.
