should I transfer or not?? (PLZ need answer...)

I am an international student and I do not have a SAT score.
I am trying to major in psychology(bachelor of arts).
I recently got accepted to Purdue University, and am waiting for answers from Penn State and Minnesota.

PSU and Purdue are big schools, but i heard that the psychology programs there are not as good as that at U of Minn.(the ranking was much higher.)

Some people I know tell me that I should transfer to a large, well known school with a better psychology program such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, U of Michigan and so on... they say I have a better chance getting into the school I want when applying for grad school.

If I get accepted to U of Minn, should I stay or should I think of transfering to a more 'well known' school?
And if I do not get accepted to U of Minn and have to go to Purdue or PSU, should I stay or tranfer?
And if I should think of transfering, which school should I consider applying???

NOTE. I prefer public universities due to costs.

I need help...:/

UCLA, UC-B, and U Mich are much more expensive than U Minn, and the difference in quality is probably not that great. Without much information to go on (how strong a student are you, how much you can pay) I’d suggest attending Minnesota if you get in. With a high GPA from there, you can get into a fine grad school.

Thanks! it helped a lot.
but what about Purdue or Penn State???
do they have reliable psychology programs? i’m not sure…
