<p>Alright, I posted before about my dilemma but it's even more of a dilemma than before!</p>
<p>I am having financial issues (my mother has been dipping into her retirement money to pay for my education and I could never live with that), and planned to transfer back to my home state school, Rutgers.</p>
<p>But here's the dilemma-</p>
<p>I currently attend the University of Tampa, i'm a freshman but have the credits of a sophomore. As a first year student I have:</p>
<ul>
<li>100+ Hours of community service</li>
<li>2 Jobs on campus - Volunteer Coordinator and Office Assistant at our Leadership & Engagement office</li>
<li>Co-Founder & Co-Captain of UT's first field hockey club</li>
<li>President of our volunteer club</li>
<li>3.8 GPA</li>
<li>Out of my entire freshman\1st year class, I received the Outstanding First Year Involvement Award</li>
<li>Academic Leadership Achievement Award</li>
<li>Just got accepted into our ELITE Mentor Program for next semester</li>
</ul>
<p>I just found out today that the dean of students, whom I have become very close with from being so involved, has personally approached financial aid to help me receive more aid, and on top of my $9,000 dean's scholarship & $500 grant, they are now offering $2,000 more--now UT is cheaper than what Rutgers would be.</p>
<p>Now the reason I want to go to Rutgers is that they have exactly what I need for what I plan to do with the rest of my life; 5 Year k-12 + special ed teacher certification AND I am able to get my ba in Psychology (it's absolutely perfect). Also, it is much bigger and from visiting so much, I feel a big school is what I really want.</p>
<p>at UT I would only be able to get my degree in psych.</p>
<p>I am so lost in what to do! I'm going to talk to academic advising tomorrow to see what they could possibly do in terms of teachers certificate...but any input would be greatly appreciated.</p>
