Should I transfer to BU?

Ok so I’m really torn right now. I received a guaranteed transfer to BU back in March, which basically says that if I go to school for one year at another university and keep my grades up I can transfer in my sophomore year. I go to a different university now and I’m really enjoying my time here and making great friends, but academically I think BU would be a better fit for me. My major at BU is one of the highest ranked in the country, while at my current university it isn’t as well known. BU was also my number one choice senior year. So I don’t really know what to do. Should I enjoy my time at my current university or should I transfer to BU and get a stronger degree from their program? If you were in my position, what would you do? Honestly any advice is helpful and would greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
