Should I transfer?

I attend Providence College and I like it there, its okay but I do not love it. For some reason it just is not the right fit. I commute because I live close to the campus and I am pretty sure I will be an RA next year but honestly if I do not get the RA position for sure I will be transferring simply because I find it difficult to commute. I have full tuition paid for there just not room and board via scholarship/aid.

My college GPA is a 3.9 and I am ranked 30 out of 1000

What I do not like about PC is there General Ed requirements, they are awful they require 4 semesters of a program called Civ which I find pointless. I also do not like the student body which is perhaps the biggest reason I would like to leave. Everyone is white and upper middle class, I remember at the Freshmen ceremony parents were so snobby acting like their children were at Harvard taking pictures with preppy sweaters draped over their shoulders. Girls are really snobby and they are not that smart. The whole student body is so homogeneous and although I am white I feel uncomfortable there. Mind you I have friends that go to Harvard and Brown and even the wealthy people there do not act like this. I also have friends that went to elite prep schools and these kids are like Catholic school snobs.

Where could I transfer? I am also a freshman

Focus on setting up your parameters first and make a list from there. Tons of schools are implementing a GE requirement like this, so research the GE requirements of schools that catch your eye and see which ones suit you.

Many colleges do not accept applicants with less than 24 earned credits at the time of application. The ones that do will put much weight on your high school record. I can’t chance people. I really do suck at it, but if you post your stats I’m sure someone will reply with a few options.

oh I was not aware of that requirement. I was kind of looking for a medium-large size school that has diversity with a good review of happiness among students and satisfaction with their school. I like school that have good sports too. I am kind of looking in Vanderbilt, Emory, Notre Dame, UNC. I had a low SAT score of 1750 so I think I may wait until my sophomore year of college.
