Should I transfer?

I am currently attending a private liberal arts school in Decorah, Iowa. I am pursing a degree in nursing and I am hoping to get my masters in nursing and become a nurse practitioner, eventually. I absolutely love the school I am attending, and the nursing program is pretty great. The only problem I have is that coming from Des Moines, I am really used to always being busy and there always being something to do. That is not the case in Decorah. I pretty much hate the fact that the most fun thing to do on a Friday night is go to a movie (one out of the three that the theatre has). It's literally so boring to live here. My parents come to visit me and can go throughout the whole town, museum, breakfast and lunch in four hours and then we are sitting in our car bored out of our minds. There are a couple of schools in Des Moines that have nursing programs that I think would be a good option. I just don't think they are as good of schools. HELP!!!!!

wow, that stinks. Life is way too short to be bored. I take it you’ve tried the school’s clubs. Plan your escape tho. Make sure you have enough credits to get into the next nursing school. Make sure you can afford it. Transfers don’t get much help at most schools. Burn no bridges.
