Should I transfer

Not sure if transfer from UH to OK-N will resolve your problem. Maybe look in state such as TAMU which is close by.

Make sure you don’t have buyer’s remorse before transfer.

It sounds like the school you are at was not your choice, and is not a good fit. I would definitely transfer! But you also sound really depressed and I agree that you need to get to a counselor right away. Not for drugs, but for someone to talk to who can listen supportively and gently make suggestions on how you can feel better. I’m glad to hear you are working out, that really helps me! What also helps me is taking control of my problems and taking steps towards solutions. When I feel like I’m a victim of circumstances beyond my control I feel a lot worse, and truthfully that is not usually the case anyways, since there is almost always something I can do to change things. You definitely can make some choices here to improve the situation. Good luck! :)

@MYOS1634, thanks for the list of schools
@artloversplus, there is no way it can get any worse for me than right now. This is as low as it can get for me.
@chris17mom thank you for the encouragement.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions. Really appreciate it.

Good luck to you. Apply widely and you’ll see that you’ll be able to transfer somewhere less commuter, where you’re less bored and “fit in” better. The key is to apply to a lot of colleges so that you can compare financial aid packages and decide on the most affordable one.
