The only class I'm not happy with is Sports Marketing, everything else was as expected. I had signed up for World Religions instead of Sports Marketing. I'm a little upset I didn't get this class but not completely shocked because it is only available for one class period(which is not the same period I have for Sports Marketing). I'm not at all interested in Sports Marketing but I'm still contemplating whether I should try and switch out of the class or not. There's not a lot of work to do in this class and there are computers too so I'll have a lot of free time to do homework and study. Plus, I know that just like a lot of other people on here, I'll be busy throughout the year so this free time might really be worth it at some point. But I'd really like to have something I'm interested in like Art or Theatre. I just don't like the idea of having a "random" class on my transcript. I'd really like for my class selection to show some kind of clue as to what my interest are. I had a similar problem like this last year where I didn't get my schedule until the first day of school and ended up having to take Parenting. Aside from that, I'm not even sure if my counselor would consider "lack of interest" a good reason to change classes.

What are your thoughts? Should I stick with Sports Marketing or still try and change my schedule?
