Should I try for it, hah

I got my SAS back just yesterday and the CR section went like this:

section 2 Cr: 7 wrong
section 5 Cr: 2 wrong
section 8 Cr: 1 wrong

Now it is not like me to get 7 wrong in one section and because of some difficulties on test day I had to put my answers on two different answer sheets (one containing the essay and two begining sections and the other one containing the rest of the test). so is it possible they may have made a bubbling mistake or should i just accept it?

if u think it'll really make a big difference (for u).............go ahead and inquire abt it......

What is the chance of lowering my score?

i really doubt it will lower you score...if you believe that you could not have made 7 mistakes, then go for it.

low chance of lowering ur score, just trust ur gut and go for what it says ;)

do you guys know anyone who raised their score by having it hand graded? Sorry about all this, but I am on the boader line of a full paid scholarship and it means alot, lol.

Jetmaster, it is really up to you whether or not you want to shell out for the Q&A service. I can't say for sure whether or not there was a scoring error, but having the Q&A service can help.

The CB offers it because, most likely 99% of the time, they can satisfy people who cannot handle that their score is so low. There are occasional grading errors, but it is unlikely. However, look over the wrong answers. If there are ANY similarities (same row, section, running out of time or lazy bubbling, non #2 pencil, bent answer sheet, unusual weather), and a full scholarship is on the line, it is probably a good $50 gamble. It is unlikely to lower your score.

Actually, don't get discouraged just yet. There was a post earlier about someone getting a 780 when he deserved an 800. He inquired about it and got the perfect score that he earned. When I received my SAS, I was fairly shocked that I had missed 1 problem from the first math section in June. I was pretty sure that I must have missed the 1 problem later on because I felt very, very confident about the first math section. It turned out that the 1 question I missed was from a free-response question so maybe the grading machine failed to correctly grade that particular problem. So I may get an 800 after all...

My point is that 50 bucks is worth the risk because the reward definitely outweighs the risk. Plus, if they did make a mistake...you get your money refunded.

Are you able to see the answers you got wrong? How?

Q&A service, offered on select examinations.

Did anyone here feel or do much worse on the first section of the Cr than on the other sections of cr on the June test?

has anyone here had or plan on having his/her test handgraded???

bump bump...
