AP BIO 5 AP History 4
Won 4-5 science ( e.g Olympiad) awards as part of school team
Won 2 individual science awards at county and State level
Research paper published on a Pharm company's web page
Did extensive summer research for 3 yrs, a co-authored research paper in process for publication</p>
<p>Congressional gold medal
Latin Gold Medal 9th grade
Lots n lots of community hours
Worked as a paramedic, lieutenant this year
Have 5 varsity letters for 3 sports, captain this year</p>
<p>Can any of you give me some kind of feedback/comments?
What can I possibly ask my counselor to write in my rec letter in order to strengthen my case?</p>

I must say, nice ECs..
Your counselor must write ''what you are'' or ''What are you good at'' and ''Why will they recommend you for Stanford''...:)..</p>

I have visted both Yale and Stanford. I liked both of them curriculam campus students life sports, specially Stanford's new community bldg etc.
But the competition for Yale's EA looks very fierce this year for obvious reasons.</p>
<p>applying as a senior. But looking at some other profiles, I feel like backing out from Stanford SCEA. This year is not a good year for EA
Issac: I understand EA vs. SCEA. But what diff would it make for me w/my profile.</p>
<p>If you are good enough, you will get in..Don't bother what ''others'' have..What you have is more important..:)..And, that is what Stanford wants..;)..</p>
