Hi,

I'm hoping for some advice on my non-traditional path for grad school. First I should hand out my stats:
GPA- 3.2 (from UC berkeley, chemical engineering)
GRE- Q750, V590, AW4.5
-absolutely almost no research experience

Now my non-tranditional path is I joined the Peace Corps immediately after graduating and spent the last 2 years teaching "O" level math and physics in Tanzania. I can get a really good LOR from my country director, a good one from an advisor in college and one from a professor who is in the field I want to be in (Environmental Engineering in Water Management).

My question is from my stats and my volunteer experience, would I have a chance at a Masters in EnvEng from say Stanford, Cornell, Yale, Uni of Maryland College Park or Berkeley? Or should I just try to get a job to gain some research experience before applying?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
