I wish to take the SAT Physics and Chemistry subject tests.

Will the Barron's AP Physics B and Chemistry books suffice? What about the Princeton AP Physics B and Chem books? Are they good for the SAT IIs as well? I'm going for an 800.

As the previous poster has said AP Physics B is similar to SAT II Physics but the same cannot be said for AP Chemistry, the scope for that test is bigger than the scope of SAT II Chemistry.

A friend of mine studied for SAT Physics and SAT US History via AP Physics and APUSH Barron’s, since he was taking the classes at the same time. 750 and 730, respectively. If you work really hard at it, you should be fine. Can’t guarantee an 800, but I think AP is harder than SAT II.
