I keep telling people I am going to Penn State UP. But I got off the waitlist at Udel, and I don't feel like I can turn it down. I am so stressed out and I keep thinking what if I don't like PSU? I plan on doing business and I know PSU has a better program, but I can't give up on Udel for some reason.

I know if I do change I will get bad housing at Delaware. Should I visit for a day at the business school? I feel like it may be awkward if they're only showing me around. I don't know what to do!

Make a list of pluses and minuses for each school. If Udel comes out way ahead on your list then switch. The bad housing doesn't matter; it's just for a year and you'll have 3 more after that.

But definitely visit first if you haven't already. Gut impressions are important, and you shouldn't plan on spending 4 years somewhere you've never seen! As far as feeling awkward, I guess its a glass half-full or half-empty kind of thing. Some people would relish the chance to have the undivided attention of a guide instead of being a face in a crowd of 20-30 people who gets maybe 1 question answered on the tour.

Of course you should visit. How are you so in love with a school you've never seen, anyway?
