Should I wait till I pick 2nd semester classes to send in the common app?

Hey guys. I go to an early college high school where we take both high school and community college classes. As a senior, I'm taking almost all college classes, but that's giving me a little trouble on the common app. As you know, it asks for first and second semester courses taken senior year, but as of now I can only comment on what I'm taking first semester. Because college courses are taken on a semester-by-semester basis, we don't register for our spring classes until like early december.

I don't want to speculate as to what classes I'll take in the spring, because its typically assumed that you won't go in to register and succeed in getting all the classes you thought you would. On the other hand, I could wait till december to submit my apps. Will I be at a disadvantage? Do you think being toward the bottom of the stack of apps for the universities on my list will perhaps cause me to be overlooked?

Any pro's/con's or comments from people who've been in my position, please share.

Don’t let this sway your decision about when to submit your application. If you don’t yet know some or all of your second semester courses, fill the section in the best you can. You might, for example say “College Lvl Math Crse To Be Determined 12/10”, etc.

There may be a disadvantage to applying later - it depends on where you are applying and whether you are applying RD or EA. For example, at rolling admission schools there is a clear advantage to applying earlier.

Yea, that’s true about the rolling admission thing. I just am afraid to speculate what my classes will be, because I’m deciding between differential equations, cal 3, and stats. if I choose one of the first two, and they find that impressive enough that it sways their decision on me, but then I end up with stats… well I don’t wanna look like I was scamming them
