i got rejected by the schools i wanted to go to in freshman admission, and i still want to transfer to them... so should i transfer now to enter in the fall at the end of my first year? or should i transfer next year and enter in the fall of my sophomore year?

It depends... Will you be able to transfer after only a single year?

I definitely say after your first year. I mean, you want to go there, right? Why deny yourself 3 whole years there.

The only concern would be if you were pretty sure you couldn't get in after 1 year, but I think that's when the majority of people try to transfer, so unless you are very weak or something goes horribly wrong your frosh year, I say GO FOR IT.

Where are you going to go and where do you want to transfer to?

but then if i transfer after the first year, that would mean i would have to apply this fall/the coming spring..... and only my high school transcript and ECs will be on the app like my freshman app
so.... i am confused, should i transfer after just one year with the same app as my freshman app? or should i wait another year for a new me :P

You would apply in the fall, and your first semester/term transcript would be in there, and would be the primary part of your application. And you'd also include your college ec. And your essay would be different...and your rec's would be coming from college professors. So, in other words, it wouldd be a very different application
