Im a history major have a 3.82 at the moment. Gpa may drop to 3.75 at end of fall
Im taking stats in spring and remedial math in winter
I feel like having math done so late effects my chance plus i have 3 Ws
2 from the same remedial math im taking during winter and 1 history class i dropped. I only dropped the history class because i thought i was going to take an 8 week math course which got canceled. Therefore im taking it this winter instead. The history class was only required by UCB

I taged w/ ucsc but dropped classes so im sure thts not going to be valid anyway

I feel like i will have a better chance next year but ive been at cc 3 years almost 4, ive been part time.. i hate to think of waiting again

Im really stressed out i have 9 to 10 schools im applying to because i think im not going to get in anywhere both UC and CSU.. but i really want to go to a UC because my income puts me in a situation where i dont qualify for financial aid at CSU but i do qualify for grants at UCs.

In your honest opinion would you wait or apply next year?

Why not just apply this year and see how things turn out? If you get accepted into the schools you want, great, you don’t have to wait another year. If you don’t then you can always just apply next year.

Only UCSB is known to care about getting math/english requirement done by spring, contrary to popular belief on collegeconfidential. Your GPA is good. Don’t worry about the Ws; they’re not as serious as people think. You should apply. I think you have a good shot at most, if not all of the schools you’ll apply to. Best of luck!
