should I wait to apply?

I’m looking to apply at central Michigan university I’m currently a senior in High School and in Oklahoma so that will be out of state I ruined my gpa freshman and a semester of sophmore year but have improved a lot my gpa is now a 2.84 and a 21 on the ACT. looking at their website it says they consider a trend in grades so since I did bad at first they can see I did better. how much better I did was my second semester of sophmore year my GPA was 3.25 my whole junior year my gpa was a 3.24, so I brought my gpa up from a 2.4 to a 2.84.

so if this makes any sense and please tell me if it doesn’t so I can explain myself should I go ahead and apply now or wait a tiny bit longer to get my gpa up more if i wait I can get it up to a 2.87-2.89 so I’m struggling on what I should do

Is there any upside to applying early to Central Mich? There might be some honors programs but in reality, CMU admissions isn’t very competitive and they’ll be admitting people into May and June. I think you should crush this semester’s grades and apply in late December or January. Maybe even retake the ACT. Good luck.

@T26E4 thanks for your reply I just wasn’t sure I had friends say apply early cause it could be first come, which if it is then I might as well, but I think waiting might be worth it for me in the long run
