Should I wait to transfer to a University and should I transfer credits from another

I will have 62 credits and an Associate of Arts degree by May. There are many colleges connected to my community college with seamless transfer for those with an Associate of Arts degree. Should I wait when I finish this semester or start applying now since I'm in the progress of obtaining the degree. I'm trying to transfer for fall 2014. If I sent my transcript now, will they even bother to look at the undated version? My GPA will be higher when I get my AA.

The second question is because I took 2 classes at University of Maryland University College (College Math and Drawing 1) and will transfer them to my community college so I can fulfill my math and elective credits. Should I still transfer the credits separately when applying to other colleges?

I really would like to get in for the fall.

Deadlines
Salisbury-Fall Admission - March 1
University of Florida-March 1
The University of Arizona- May 1 Summer, June 1 Fall
Stevenson University- May 1

Thank you!

You need to start applying soon, so that you don’t miss the application deadlines. After you finish the spring semester, you will send a final transcript. The college/university will definitely look at that transcript. You have to send a separate transcript from UM. It doesn’t matter if those credits transferred to your CC. You still need to send it.

Thank you. I failed one class at UMUC, it will not transfer right?

A failed class will not transfer, of course. However, all your grades at CC do not transfer either, just the credit. You will start with a fresh 0.0 GPA at the new school.

Don’t go to Stevenson!!
