<p>ntrading - if you think that you are even a remote possibility at Penn, you should be able to get into NYU during RD. Conversely, if you believe that you might have trouble with NYU during RD, you really shouldn’t be thinking about Penn.</p>
<p>Unless you’re considering NYU-Stern vs. Penn (wharton or CAS), which is altogether different. Although even in this case, both CAS and Wharton are harder to get into than Stern, if only slightly.</p>

<p>lol, why would you apply ED to a school you aren’t at all excited about attending? You know that if you apply ED to NYU and get in, you enter a binding agreement to go there. That would really suck if you weren’t at all looking forward to it.</p>
<p>If you really want to go to Penn (and from reading your post it seems like Penn is your clear first choice) then apply ED. I would strongly advise against applying ED to a school that isn’t your first choice (or even one of your top choices at all).</p>
