I’ve been really struggling in precalculus. I’ve been accepted to two colleges but I don’t know what the admissions offices would think of a W. I was deferred from one college because I was failing the class with a 67, so they want my midyear grades. I am failing the class right now with a 68. No matter how much I study the quizzes and tests are nothing like what we do in class and the material is just horrible (it really sucks the life out of you). I put in so much effort to try to do well in the class but no matter what I keep failing the quizzes and tests despite staying after every week with the teacher. My school has this awful policy where you can only revise quizzes but not tests. I am not even going into math in college as my intended major is art history, but I don’t know whether it is worse to fail a class or to withdraw from it. Which is worse? Failing or withdrawing from the class? I would appreciate some feedback on this.
we are guessing. The colleges that you are applying to, they know the answers. Call them.
