Should I withdraw?

I am planning to transfer to arch major. So now I am taking a history class as GE course. But I am afraid I can't keep up with it because the class has too many readings. The teacher's great but she expects us to read the textbook ourselves and skips really fast in class. Besides, my other classes also has quite a lot a homework so it makes me difficult to keep up with the history class.

Should I withdraw my history class? Will the withdrawal look bad on my transcript if I transfer to a UC or a private school?

Thank you... I need an answer. :(

Can you even withdraw at this date? Or are you on the quarter system?

If you can withdraw then do so. Do not drop more classes other than this one because that starts to look bad.

Granted you will have to do VERY well in the rest of your classes or your GPA will go down the drain.

There is a cut off date when the W will turn into a WF if you are failing so you should find that out.

Thank you for your inputs! I’ve withdrawn now as the class goes really too fast for me on quarter system. I asked my counselor and she said a W doesn’t matter as long as it is not related to your major. So I withdrew.
I don’t think I would withdraw from any class anymore in the future, hopefully. Haha.
