Hey CC, long time no see!

So I've taken 3 SAT Subject Tests:
US History - 770
Lit - 760
Math II - 720

The Math II score isn't terrible, but I'm not super proud of it, and it definitely doesn't represent my math abilities (I've received all A's and one A- in advanced math classes at my school). I'm applying to a few top-tier colleges (Harvard, Brown, Amherst, etc.), and I wonder if a Math II score of 720 would hurt my chances at those schools...

Basically, I'd like to know what you guys think: when I send my score report to colleges, should I withhold the Math II score?

Thanks :)

Depends on what your planned major is, and some schools specifically request Math2. If neither applies to you, you could send the two best,

BUT

Many super selective schools “strongly recommend” all sittings of all SATs anyway.

That makes sense. Thanks!

The only scenario where a 720 would be embarrassing is if you’re not only applying to Harvard but make it abundantly clear in your application that you intend to take Math 55. Even then, I think Harvard all but requires that score anyway. And besides, 720 is within the middle 50 for Princeton, just below it for MIT, and typical or a little above average for competitive LACs:
