So the Common Application profile requires an essay which I plan to write it on this prompt:

"Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story."

I plan to write it about how I met a friend who helped me to recover from my bullying experience.

Should I write about this or it will be too unapropiate?

Thank you

No I was going to originally write about how my friend was protecting me from the dangerous situations, by sacrificing his lifestyle with out me knowing…

Got changed because an online app for one college and common app has one writting option that’s the same(hardship)

I think its fine, just make sure you don’t sound like you are whining. However, make it about you, not the friend.

It is at risk of being very cliché, like most essays in response to this prompt. However, if you make sure that it’s written in a unique way and is personal (no one else on earth could have written this essay), you’ll be fine. :)
