<p>I have recently moved from my very small town in Western MT to a slightly larger town in Western MT. I did this in order to take some college courses at the University of MT (Native American Studies and Geography of World Regions). It is great bc I am able to take part in many clubs and activities that I was never exposed to in my small town. These include being an official note-taker for a handicapped person/official class notetaker in Native American Studies, College Democrats, Amnesty International, Lacrosse, and an NHS that actually does something. I am getting involved in both High School and College groups.</p>
<p>I am wondering if, since none of this would show up in my app to Stanford (execpt I did mention that I was going to be taking college courses and that was why I was only taking four high school courses for a semester), if I should send them a letter explaining the new things that I am getting involved in. Do you think that a letter would help/hurt/not make a difference.</p>
