Should it matter if I dropped a language with my circumstances?

Hey everyone,

I'm a current senior. Neither AP French nor regular French would fit in my schedule this year. My guidance counselor tried everything she could but it would've been impossible without dropping other classes that I wanted to keep, e.g. BC or Research.

I ultimately had to drop French from my schedule after having taken the language for 5ish years. So... I don't have any foreign languages in my schedule.

Given that I had no reasonable alternative, would the lack of a foreign language be a disadvantage for me in the college application process?

That’s completely fine, colleges care about the level reached not the number of years.

Awesome, thanks @guineagirl96‌!
