Actually I just got back from Geoegetown’s Hoya Saxa Weekend flyin program. They flew me and 25 others out to visit for the weekend-- and I loved it. I love georgeotwn’s vibe and I really meshed with the multicultural sub community there.
We all attended Vanderbilt’s Mosaic program last week. It was also great!

A few weeks ago I had dinner with some one in a position of power at one of the Ivies. We were talking about admissions. Much to my surprise they told me they love when siblings and twins apply. They didn’t know why for sure. Based upon that conversation I would assume 4 brothers applying would be very appealing to many of the Ivies
All officially accepted by Duke!
Although the financial aid situation is somewhat confusing, considering that Duke’s EFC is more than 10k higher than what the FAFSA calculated. I’m aware that they might use different algorithms and such to calculate the net price, but still… I’m not understanding how they arrived at these numbers, especially since the aid I received from Georgetown and UChicago seemed fairly true to the FAFSA calculator.
Did you use each college’s Net Price Calculator?
You guys I love reading this thread. It honestly makes me happy to see people getting into great colleges and universities and you all seem like great students. Could you make one updated list of the schools that you got into after Ivy Day/ you hear back from all your colleges?

This week marks the end of our admissions decisions—we’ve got the Ivies (at least one of us applied to each one, with the exception of Dartmouth) tomorrow, and then Stanford the next day (I’ll also hear back from Berkeley on that day). We’ll be sure to keep you all updated as these decisions come out!

Regardless of the outcome today, most of you guys are some of the HIGHEST achieving seniors in the country. God speed to you guys today. Today will be a roller coaster of emotions. Spend time with your family regardless of the outcome and make sure each of the brothers know that all have each others’ back!
