I love following this thread.
I have a dear friend whose older sister had boy triplets…they ended up going to Harvard, Princeton, UChicago (it was quite remarkable).

Congrats!! I’m rooting for you guys!!!
Congratulations! I am very happy for you You’ll be terrific at Georgetown, they’re lucky to have you.
What about your brothers?
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I was the only one who applied to a “prestigious” university early. We all got OSU early though. We applied to U Mich Early so we are waiting on that. I’m also waiting on U Chicago early Action which comes out Monday. Though I can’t see my bros getting in their dream schools cuz they are lowkey better than me lol.
Thanks for the congrats y’all!
I also love this thread.
@NikkuWadde I’ve been (silently) following your journey and keeping my fingers crossed for you, but thought it was time I chime in and say CONGRATS! You have such a great attitude that shines through here, and if you can do that here, I’m sure your essays have had the same impact.
So excited for you. Really! Please keep us posted on where you end up.
P.S. I also love all your “ya’lls.” LOL
Thanks! @1Dreamer. I really think my essays are what’s got me in to! I have all the confidence for my bros at their dream schools cuz lowkey they are “smarter” (academically) than me.
I will continue updating this thread with morenacceptances and stuff from all of us. Hopefully on moday, I’ll be able to post an acceptance to U Chicago!
I look forward to reading the rest if your acceptances.
So what’s your top choice from where you’ve been accepted so far?
Well, I’ve only been accepted to Georgetown and OSU, so. But Georgetown thus far @suzyQ7
I haven’t visited Chicago yet, so as it stands Georgetown SFS would trump Chicago. But if I get in and visit, maybe it’ll change but I doubt it. Now, if I got into both Georgetown and Princeton, things might change. I would really weight the pros and cons of both.
Georgetown SFS is like Harvard for ir and the location is perfect. So I can imagine how only Princeton could beat that for you.
This is such a positive thread. One of my favorites by far! Good luck on UMich and everywhere else you applied to! UMich is my number one and I’m anxiously waiting for the result!
@NikkuWadde I wish the best of luck to you and your brothers during this college season! Congrats!
Accepted EA into UChicago!
Congrats! You are going to have great options.
Thanks though I probably won’t attend, because it will be too expensive without ROTC, and I’m not willing to do it at Chicago. I’d do ROTC and Princeton (if admitted) and Georgetown (already admitted). I feel it wouldn’t work for Chicago because it’s so rigorous and they are on a quarter system.
But still overjoyed and honored nonetheless to be accepted EA at Chicago!
Princeton and Georgetown won’t be a walk in the park either, but I personally agree with your assessment. Have your parents committed to your room & board+ yet?
Turns out my parents have money saved up in bonds (from my dad’s grandparents) that would cover a lot of the reaming room and board costs for all four of us, and my grandmother (bless her soul) has saved up a money to spread among her grand-kids, so it looks like a lot of the costs will be covered one way or another. Also, I still have coca cola scholarship for 25k a year potenitally (I know there is a low chance of me getting it)
I wouldn’t be going to any pricey college without ROTC to cover tuition because the aid Chicago gave leaves $40,000 to pay per year lol.
