Should scores still be sent to an "SAT optional" school?

Actually, I think that Sarah Lawrence College says they no longer give consideration to SAT scores. My D had a high writing score, especially. Should she have College Board send it? Is it too late?

Some colleges have gone "SAT optional" but Sarah Lawrence, in particular, dropped the requirement completely. They don't consider any standardized tests in their admission process.

Our recent decision to remove all standardized testing from the admission process reflects the College’s emphasis on writing rather than testing.

The colleges that are truly "optional" leave it up to you to make the decision whether you would like to have it considered or not. For those schools, if your scores are good it will never hurt to send it in. As far as it being too late to do so, it really depends on the school. Make a quick call to the admissions office.
