Hi, I have a about an MIT application. If a student got 5s on all \math and science APs but got 4s on English and Psych AP tests, would it be weird to withhold those 4s on the application, or is there a chance MIT would assume the student did REALLY badly (like a 2) and therefore they’re better off reporting the 4s?
There is no valid reason not to report a 4. It is a very good score

MIT isn’t looking for students that only get 5s on their APs, because there are just a ton of students like that in the world. I think what would matter more than whether your AP score is a 4 or a 5 would be your personal essays and story. Good luck!
