would i be at a disadvantage if i wrote about these three topics for the common application personal statement or should i stick with their topics......?? (by the way i aspire to become a physician)
- What are your educational and career goals?
- What scientific subjects interest you the most?
- What scientific subjects have been the most difficult for you and Why?

I’m confused. Or those your questions or theirs?

Because the personal statement isn’t necessarily an answer to a question. If it is, then the question is ‘Who are you?’

If one of the most important things about you is your desire to become a physician, then by all means write about that.

But it should not be as prosaic as ‘Biology was the hardest subject I have taken because I had trouble understanding mitosis’

they have an option of “topic of your choice”

If you don’t like the other prompts, you should choose your own topic. It will not be a disadvantage.

alright thank you guys
