They sent out decisions yesterday. I got my huge folder today and I live about an hour away from LA. They send it priority mail.

UCLA and USC released decisions on the same day - HAHA

How do you know that USC notifications went out yesterday?

jwhitepa, we know since local students have posted that they received their acceptance today and international students received their email packet notifications yesterday.

balleranddancer, what city in socal are you from? I’m from socal too but i haven’t received anything yet.

Thanks. Did the local letters come through standard mail or Fed Ex?

Priority mail (USPS)… for domestic mail.

so is it going to be every friday?

Cavmom,

I can’t wait to hear either!! I’m also located in the bay area and think we will be getting them Tues or Wed…

this is what my status says can you please explain what this means?
Application Status:

The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.
Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
Your application has been forwarded for committee review

does this mean anything? rejected? accepted? pending??

i have the same thing ive been like that for like a month

my status has been “being reviewed” since december. it has never changed.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???
usc is being so confusing with all their status messages.

@lakers: my status is the same as yours. it’s really frustrating!

@uschopeful
it really is!
and i tried logging into the deposit/enrollment form but it said i was unauthorized…
apparently people who have been able to log into this had their status change from “reviewed” to “forwarded” back to “reviewed”
ughhh

yeah i know, but mine never changed from reviewed ! -_- my stats aren’t too bad, i think i have like a 50/50 chance that’s why it’s so frustrating! i just want to hear back already.

if the package is huge, do they leave it at your front door or stuff it in your tiny mail box and ruin its glory?

The package isn’t THAT huge. It’s a 9 x 11 inch envelope, about 1/2 inch thick, containing a nice folder with information.

Those of you who got accepted in the second wave… did anyone receive scholarships??!

Was anyone in the School of Theatre?

Re : ALAMEMOM

UCLA applicants for the most part ALL have great numbers, scores, grades etc… It is the EC, the essays and supplemental materials that help a student standout. The had over 57,000 applicants this year! That’s why you always hear of these kids with perfect grades, SAT’s, ACT’s that don’t get in.
