Ok, now are you guys sending the report of your most recent examination? We've already submitted our mid-year reports..but what about the Rehearsal exam report? For me, it comes out somewhere around Feb 1-5, and like many other students, my mid-year report is like the only blemish on my record( Damn those SAT II's and mock tests!)... So is it wise to forward the pre-test report, or wait for the colleges to contact you??9 since I was hoping for those results to be better!)

My 12th grade is lower than my other marks... I mean, a sudden drop to 60 and 70 in two subjects, ( which does look bad when I have never scored such marks before...:( ..I am worried about the downward curve)

Nope, I still rank 1st (thanks to the other 5 subjects…)… but our mid term report dosent reflect that, Our school believes it cannot hurt the “fragile minds of an unstable generation”
though that hardly matters cause we still get our ranks at the end of the year!
I am sure my counselor has spoken about me being a straight-set topper( I dont get a feeling that she has particularly addressed 12th marks…)

I was thinking of asking my principal to send my pre-board scores in the mid-year report (hey come out around end-Jan) … God knows they will definitely be better than my half-yearly scores…

in fact, why not? i believe you should ask your counselor too… from what i have read, the upward trend should definitely help… :)

^ Exactly my point… These scores would in all probability be better! But mine come out a little later like around 5th Feb, but since the entire app is already done, I guess I will simply send it again…hell, they can throw it in the bin if they want… but at least I’d have done my bit…

If the scores are better, then definitely send those. Better is… well, better.
Senior year scores are vairy important. It should only add a positive boost to your application desperado.

well you will miss the some deadlinesme… (Yale for one, if you are applying that is) … but several other colleges will accept mid-year reports through February… in fact i didn’t see any deadline on their sites… so don’t let results on Feb 5 worry you…
