Should we start a rejection thread?

My son applied and was accepted at loyola marymount, applied to cal poly, USD, ucla, ucsb, ucla, ucsb & pepperdine. He likes the beach too!

I’m definitely liking the beach; I’ve dreamed of UCSB since my sophomore year. In addition to Santa Barbara & Cal Poly, I applied to Irvine and have been accepted at Arizona State & Ohio State.

It seems that I am the only one that has not heard? Any other engineering majors that have not been accepted? Do they post on the weekend?

My son has not heard…but he has not checked either. I don’t even know if he’s set up his portal.

My son is engineering major and hasn’t heard. Is considering it a reach, so won’t be too disappointed.

Cal Poly knows which applicants are serious by who is setting up their portal, checking their messages etc.

admission decisions are partly based upon whether a student is active on the portal?

Ruh-roh!

"admission decisions are partly based upon whether a student is active on the portal? "

I guess that’s why they sent sons deferral from ED via snail mail!
